Our Story

Healing Through Connection

A&A Equine Therapy was built on two powerful beliefs: Healing happens through connection, and Horses have an incredible ability to help people find it.

As a mother & daughter team, this business represents the blending of our individual gifts, experiences, and shared passion for horses and helping others. Through horses, compassionate support, and meaningful community partnerships, we are creating a space where people can explore wellness, build confidence, and experience healing in a unique and transformative way.

Our vision is to offer individuals and families an alternative path to personal growth and wellbeing while fostering a community where collaboration, connection, and holistic healing can thrive.

In honor of “Ebony’s Black Night”. She will always be remembered as one of the two that started it all. We thank her for her undying love and healing.

Meet the Founders

A&A Equine Therapy was founded by mother and daughter team Allisha and Annice, who bring together a unique blend of healthcare experience, equine expertise, and a shared passion for helping others.

Allisha’s background in nursing and mental health has given her a deep understanding of the healing process and the importance of creating space where people feel supported, seen, and empowered.

Annice, an accomplished horseperson, has spent years developing an extraordinary connection with horses, successfully training and competing with horses that others considered challenging, earning a multitude of blue ribbons and competing at state level.

Together, they recognized the powerful impact that horses can have on confidence, emotional wellbeing, personal growth, and healing. Through A&A Equine Therapy, they are creating opportunities for individuals and families to experience the therapeutic benefits of equine connection while building a community that embraces collaboration, holistic wellness, and alternative pathways to healing.

Their mission is simple: to help people discover strength, confidence, and connection through the remarkable relationship between humans and horses.
